Cream Cheese Frosting

Serves: 1 cake
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
- ¼ cup unsalted butter softened to room temperature
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract (optional)
- Mix the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar, cream, vanilla and coconut extract.
- Mix until well blended.
- Ice a completely cooled cake.
- Refrigerate

- I made my cake of Friday, the icing on Saturday and iced the cake on Sunday. It's just that great for preparing for an event!
