Cranberry Granola Crunch

Add Cranberry Granola Crunch to your yogurt, ice cream, or just grab a handful and enjoy! It's great to have fresh granola on hand, and you know what you're getting. This recipe is flavored with preserves which gives it a distinctive flavor adding homemade goodness. It's addictive!
Ingredients
  • ½ cup butter
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup strawberry preserves
  • 2 cups rolled oats (uncooked)
  • ¾ cup coarsely chopped nuts
  • 1 cup dried cranberries or raisins
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Combine butter, sugar, and preserves in a 3 quart suacepan.
  3. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until well blended.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add rolled oats and nuts.
  6. Mix until the dry ingredients are evenly coated.
  7. Spread the mixture into a 13 X 9 ungreased baking pan and bake 35 to 40 minutes stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove the granola from the oven and stir in the cranberries.
  9. Spread the mixture onto an ungreased cookie sheet and cool completely.
  10. The granola will become crispy as it cools.
  11. Store in tightly covered containers.
